ICFAI offers new course

VIJAYAWADA: The ICFAI National College (INC) here is offering a post-graduate diploma course in Banking, Finance and Insurance.
All degree students and even those in final year of degree are eligible to join the course, according to campus head D. Satyanarayana.

Honing soft skills

The one-year course consists of two semesters of regular classroom instruction followed by a three-month internship in a corporate firm.
The course, which is already available in many other cities, is being offered here for the first time.
Apart from the subject and skills, the course would also hone the soft skills of the candidates.
Select national-level tests like the IRDA certification for the insurance sector, AMFI certification required for mutual fund firms and NCFM certification for the financial market have been integrated into the course.
