HYDERABAD: The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to start specialised B.Com course with major in financial and cost accounting and M.Com course major in management accounting and financial strategies for the students of the ICWAI and its members.
The 10+2 students can take admission in ICWAI’s Foundation Course and B.Com simultaneously and Intermediate passed out students of ICWAI and graduates can study the institute’s final course and M.Com at a time. Common papers studied by the students in ICWAI course will be exempted in the specialised courses. These courses will help the ICWAI students to acquire knowledge in the new areas rather than concentrating on the same subjects.
