ELURU: Naivety and rusticity, the typical trappings associated with the rural students, seemingly gave way to innovation and creativity during a communication drive launched by Sir. C.R. Reddy College in association with Mercury Consultants, a Hyderabad-based agency.
The 300-odd students, mostly with rural background, from B.Sc. final year, were in for a unique test – safe packaging of eggs – at the end of theprogramme. The test was so rigorous that the panellists would throw away the packed eggs from the rooftop of the college auditorium, the venue of the programme, and the egg should remain intact for anyone to win the game. Surprisingly, all the 12 eggs packed by 12 teams, each comprising 25 students, remained safe, withstanding the test. The students were exposed to communication skills, presentation skills, creativity, interview facing techniques, spoken English and corporate etiquette during the programme.
