The Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute, under the Union Government, Bangalore – 560 022 has invited applications for admission to its one-year fulltime post graduate diploma course in mechanical wood industries technology commencing in the 3rd week of October, 2008.
Graduates in science or engineering from a recognised university are eligible to apply. Age limit as on October 1, 2008 is 28. (31 years for candidates belonging to the Other Backward Classes category and 33 years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories).
Selection is based on the marks obtained in B.Sc., BE or B.Tech. degree.
Application form and prospectus can be obtained by sending a requisition letter along with a demand draft for Rs.250 drawn in favour of the Director, Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute, Bangalore – 560 022 to the same address. (Phone: 080- 28394231, 28394232, 28394233).
The filled-in applications should reach the institute on or before September 1, 2008.
