Counselling from July 16

Hyderabad, July 5: The Eamcet engineering admission notification would be issued on July 7 and counselling for the first 80,000 rankers will be conducted from July 16 to August 8. "Each day, we will call about 4,000 candidates for counselling. The counselling would be conducted from 8am to 8pm," said Mr K.C. Reddy, chairman of Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education.
He said according to the directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the council would also issue admission guidelines to private colleges for admitting students under the management quota . "We received the high court judgement copy on Saturday. We will issue guidelines accordingly along with the notification on July 7," Mr Reddy said.
He also said candidates under the physically handicapped quota can seek admissions without paying any fee at the time of admissions as the state government has decided to reimburse it on par with other backward classes, schedule caste and schedule tribe candidates. Till now, the physically handicapped candidates were entitled only for partial fee reimbursement.
