Sericulture technology

The Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Srirampura, Mysore, has invited applications for its entrance test to be held on August 5 in Mysore, New Delhi and Kolkata for admission to the two-year M.Sc. programme in sericulture technology. This course is recognised by the University of Mysore and will commence in September 2008.

Eligibility

B.Sc. degree with any three of sericulture; zoology; botany; chemistry; biochemistry; microbiology; bioscience; biotechnology; and environmental science as optional or B.Sc. agriculture or sericulture. B.Sc. sericulture graduates will be given preference.
For getting the application by post, send a request along with a crossed demand draft for Rs.100 in favour of The Director, Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore - 570 008, accompanied by a self-addressed envelope (size 25 X 19 cm). Stamps for Rs.30 should be affixed.
Completed applications should be sent along with a demand draft for Rs.150 to the Director so as to reach the institute on or before July 26.
