ICFAI College celebrates ANKUR-2008

VISAKHAPATNAM: While recruiting people, one of the most important assets that employers look at is good communication skills.

Addressing the inaugural of the MBA class (2008-10) on Friday , the chief guest and centre head of the Interface (Consultancy) G. Ramachandran said lack of effective communication skills in English in particular could lead to loss of confidence and thereby difficulty in procuring a good job. English teaching formed an important part of the management course taught in ICFAI. ICFAI national college (INC) celebrated ANKUR’08, the inaugural day of the MBA class (2008-10) and culmination of the month-long pre-MBA classes.

The regional head of ICFAI G. Anantram underlined the need for continuous learning in today’s world.

He said ANKUR (Appreciation of new key interventions in learning) was just a beginning. In two years, all new entrants to the programme should be ready to join new job provided they kept themselves updated.
