VISAKHAPATNAM June 22: The Andhra University School of Distance Education is conducting an instant examination at its premises here on July 20 for the benefit of final year students who failed in March/April 2008 examinations.
Students of final year B.A. (CCS), B.Com. (revised) and B.Sc. (CCS) who were admitted during 2005-06 academic year, who have passed all subjects in I and II years and appeared for the final year exams for the first time during March-April this year, and failed only in one theory subject are eligible to appear for the instant examination, according to Director of AU SDE P. Hrushikesava Rao. The application for instant examination can be made on a plain paper, addressed to Director, AU SDE, Visakhapatnam, with name, identity number and the subject for which the candidate is appearing. Photostat copies of marks statements of I, II and III year examinations; hall-ticket of March-April 2008 examination; contact telephone number with STD code and the fee (Rs. 1,330 for B.A. and B.Com. and Rs. 1,670 for B.Sc.) paid in the shape of a demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, must be enclosed with the application and sent to the Deputy Registrar, School of Distance Education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530 003 by July 11. It can be sent by post or submitted in person. The envelope containing the applications must be super-scribed “Degree Instant Exam”.
