VISAKHAPATNAM: Running test for selection of candidates for the post of Police Sub Inspectors will be held in batches from July 11.
Male candidates have to take the 5-km run while female candidates (civil) will have to run 2.5 km, according to Deputy Inspector General (Visakha range) Sandeep Sandilya.
Those who qualify in the run would be eligible for the physical fitness test.
Applications
The DIG called upon candidates to practise running from now itself.
About 10,000 applications have been received so far for the SI posts.
The last date for application is July 5.
