Seats available in three courses

Guntur, June 25: Acharya Nagarjuna University has asked those interested in joining post-graduate courses in political science, public administration and MA Journalism and Mass Communication (self finance course) to directly come to the respective departments and obtain on-the-spot admission.
If the candidates fulfil all the eligibility criteria, they could come directly with original certificates and prescribed fee to the respective departments and take admission, a release said on Wednesday.
University Vice-Chancellor Y. Haragopala Reddy, meanwhile, met Chief Minister Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy at his office in Hyderabad and expressed his gratitude for appointing him to the post. The Chief Minister promised to extend all possible support to the university for its growth and development.

Seminar held

Transport Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana has said that the UPA-led Central Government and the State Government are committed to give priority to youth and make them a part of the development.
Speaking at a seminar of the Aam Aadmi Ka Sepayi programme held at DCC office on Wednesday, he narrated the contribution made by Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi to lift the country out of the depths of poverty. The various flagship programmes, NREGS, Right to Information Act and the Forest Act had been designed to cause inclusive growth in the country, he said.
State Youth Congress general secretary and State coordinator of Aam Aadmi Ka Sepayi G. Usha Rani called upon the Youth Congress members to propagate the benefits of various developmental programmes across the State. She said that the Youth Congress under the leadership of AICC general secretary and NSUI president Rahul Gandhi had embarked on the programme to identify talented and committed party members.
All India Youth Congress general secretary Sk. Mastan Vali and City Congress Committee president Mada Radha were present.
