Admission open for NALSAR courses

National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) University of Law, Hyderabad, has announced opening of admissions for 2008-09 in the following one-year courses: P.G. Diploma in Patent Law; P.G. Diploma in Cyber Laws; P.G. Diploma in Media Laws; P.G. Diploma in International Humanitarian Laws. The last date for submission of application forms is June 30.

The courses are open to any graduate. Candidates intending to enrol for admission can download the application form from the website www.nalsarpro.org or can receive it from the Director, Nalsao Proximate Education, by sending a demand draft for Rs.300 in the name of ‘NALSAR Proximate Education’, payable at Hyderabad.

Dedicated website

The courses will be imparted through a dedicated website apart from printed modules, CD-Roms and contact seminars at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Ahmedabad for P.G. Diploma in Patent Laws; and Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai for P.G. Diploma in Cyber Laws. Media Law course contact classes are held only in Hyderabad. However, the enrolled candidates can take their exams in any of the above centres.

The programme in International Humanitarian Laws is totally web-based. The course is open to candidates from Asia, Asia-Pacific, and south Asian countries.
