Meet throws light on foreign courses

VIJAYAWADA June 29: Euphoria and joy was writ on the faces of young ones, as experts, at an exposure meet organised by Saraswathi Abroad, reeled out success stories of how some people made it to the top by taking advantage of their higher education abroad and their exposure to international experiences.
Saraswathi Abroad, a consultancy, provided the platform to familiarise parents and students with affordable courses in MBBS, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, MBA and MCA offered by world-class universities across the globe. The idea behind organising the exposure meet was to enable students to explore possibilities for their best future careers.
There were high expectations among students, whose spirit to do well soared to new heights. With strong and encouraging support from parents, the students wanted to explore every opportunity that would knock at their doors. The experts said that MBBS course was available in the range of just Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs at universities in China, Philippines and such other countries. Even in Central America, the courses were being offered at relatively low tuition fee, which would be advantageous to Indian students. P.S. Rao of Saraswathi Abroad consultancy told parents that they should apply their minds carefully before selecting a course of study and foreign country for their children’s higher education.

Pilot training

He pointed out that pilot training course was being offered at several universities in Australia and Philippines, which was a fertile field for Indian students to try their luck and exploit global opportunities. Several parents asked whether MBBS done in foreign countries would get global opportunities for their children.
They were told that foreign education in MBBS would carry equal weight and the students would have to do separate courses in different countries in order to derive maximum benefits. He said that there were several higher educational opportunities being offered at affordable fee at several institutions in Nepal.
