VISAKHAPATNAM: The theory examinations of first, second and third year examinations of B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. (home science), B.A. (OL), B.C.A., B.E.M. and B.B.M. courses of Andhra University will commence on March 2, 2009.
The English practical examinations will be held from January 20 to February 10 and the science practical examinations from February 12 to 26, according to a press release from Controller of Examinations K. Samrajyalakshmi.
The last date for payment of examination fee is December 1 without fine and December 10 with a late fee of Rs. 500. Applications will be accepted for only theory papers 10 days before commencement of examination on payment of a penal fee of Rs. 2,000.
Additional fee
Proforma of the examination application form can be downloaded from the AU website http/ www.andhrauniversity.info/exams/appl.html and has to be submitted to the Principal of college concerned.
An additional fee of Rs. 30 towards examination application form has to be paid along with examination fee.
Students of B.Com. (restructured), CCS, vocational (old) courses prior to B.A. bathces of 1998-1999 and B.Sc. 1994-95 batches will be permitted to appear for the left over papers under Part I and Part II at the special examination, which would be held along with the regular candidates and this will be the last chance for them.
The special examination will be held at Sir C.R.R. College for Boys, Elurur (for West Godavari district); S.K.V.T. College, Rajahmundry (East Godavari); Dr. V.S. Krishna Govt. Degree College here (Visakhapatnam); M.R. College for Boys, Vizianagaram (Vizianagaram) and Government Degree College for Boys, Srikakulam (Srikakulam district).
In case the candidates failed in the special examinations of Part I and Part II, they will be permitted to complete the course under the School of Distance Education after taking readmission.
Applications submitted by the candidates by post or in person at the university office will not be entertained.
